Introduction to Ballet Workshops

We run numerous ballet workshops and school programs throughout the year.

These include 1 day workshops during school holidays, semester long programs through state schools and other ballet activities.

All our teachers are trained professionals and we offer subsidies and discounts for eligible organisations.

If your organisation would like to run a program, please email info@balletwithoutborders.org

Ballet without Border's mission is to bring ballet to all children and runs ballet workshops for children who would otherwise not be able to experience the joy of ballet due to disadvantage.  We partner with local communities to run these workshops and create sustainable pathways for those who wish to further their ballet education.

Why ballet?

Ballet is beautiful and its fun! It helps with core, posture and strength as well as providing children with important life skills such as discipline and attention to detail. Ballet has been used as cross training to improve performance and support rehabilitation by numerous sport styles including football clubs around the world and is fundamental to many dance styles.

In 2018 and 2019 Ballet Without Borders ran 2 masterclasses for adult ballet students with Leanne Stojmenov, Principal artist of the Australian Ballet and David McAllister, Artistic Director of the Australian Ballet. All proceeds went towards supporting our work.
