Programs
We run numerous ballet workshops and school programs throughout the year.
These include 1 day workshops during school holidays, semester long programs through state schools and other ballet activities through schools and community groups.
Public primary schools are our core business where we provide a full term of ballet classes to students. There is no need for the schools or students to have any special equipment or dress and we have a specifically crafted syllabus that maps to the educational department outcomes.
We provides a holistic ballet experience that goes beyond ballet movement, including facts, history, music and artistry.
All our teachers are trained professionals.
If your organisation would like to run a program, please email info@balletwithoutborders.org
Ballet without Border's mission is to bring ballet to all children and runs ballet workshops for children who would otherwise not be able to experience the joy of ballet due to disadvantage. We partner with local communities to run these workshops and create sustainable pathways for those who wish to further their ballet education.
Why ballet?
Ballet is beautiful and its fun! It helps with core, posture and strength as well as providing children with important life skills such as discipline and attention to detail. Ballet has been used as cross training to improve performance and support rehabilitation by numerous sport styles including football clubs around the world and is fundamental to many dance styles.
