A short and sweet video about the inaccessibility of ballet and what it takes to raise a dancer.
We have worked with children from a variety of backgrounds, holding workshops, classes and longer term ballet programs in areas across Greater Western Sydney and are currently expanding Australia wide.

Past Engagements
A term of ballet at Darkinjung Barker, a 100% First Nation school on the Central Coast. The children had an amazing time and we have been asked back for a second term. Taught in collaboration with Ella Havelka, ex dancer with the Australian Ballet and the first Aboriginal dancer with the company, Ella was able to bring aspects of traditional dance into the mix. A wonderful experience for all.
In recent months and last year, even during the pandemic we have managed to run ballet classes at Hampden Park Public and Mary Immaculate Catholic School.
We also continue to provide the opportunity for talented children to progress with their ballet education at local ballet schools, below are 2 of our past sponsored students, Daniel and Tatum. Both are still dancing and have done incredibly well in their ballet journey!
“Having done ballet up until my teens, I appreciate all its benefits: physical activity, self-discipline, creativity, friendships, working towards goals (exams/performances); these are such valuable things, no matter where you go and what you do in life.
'I like the quote by Mikhail Baryshnikov that ‘dancers are made, not born’, because if you believe this, it means there are hundreds of budding dancers out there who may never get the chance to fulfill their potential because lessons are out of reach – and that’s why Ballet Without Borders’ mission is so vital”
